Technical Writer
OJ Electronics – a Danish producer of underfloor heating controls, HVAC drives, and drive controllers – is looking for a technical writer to join our technical support team in Sønderborg, Denmark. Read more Apply As part of our tech-support team, you’ll be responsible for preparing and maintaining the technical manuals and product literature that help our customers install and use our products correctly and efficiently.
Working closely with technical supporters, product specialists and engineers, you’ll gather the knowledge needed to write clear, accurate, and well-structured documentation in English. This position reports to technical support manager Brian Christensen and is an important link between our technical experts and the customers who rely on our products every day.
Your role At OJ, you’ll be expected to: Prepare new technical documentation and manuals for our products in English Maintain and update existing technical literature across product lines Collaborate closely with technical supporters and product specialists to gather and validate information Participate in product development projects, ensuring accurate and timely documentation for new products Ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance with company standards across all published materials Must-have qualifications Relevant educational background – for example in communication, engineering, or an electrical/technical field Strong command of written English, with excellent grammar and attention to detail Ability to understand technical products and explain their functions clearly and logically Experience working collaboratively with technical experts and project teams Structured, thorough, and self-motivated approach to your work Nice-to-have qualifications Previous experience writing technical literature for similar products or industries (e.g. thermostats, controllers, drives) A technical background or hands-on experience with product installation or maintenance Familiarity with documentation tools, templates, or content-management systems Working at OJ At OJ Electronics, you’ll find an informal, open and collaborative culture where people take pride in doing quality work.
