Looking for community, coffee, and new friends? ☕ Watt-A-Café is seeking volunteers to help run our new community café at Osramhuset. Kontakt organisation We are a group of around 25 people, a mix of dedicated Danes and internationals, opening a fully volunteer-led café on the premises of Osramhuset, in collaboration with Copenhagen Municipality.Our vision is to create a lovely communal place where neighbors and visitors of Osramhuset want to stop by for a cup of coffee and a chat. We open on the 30th of May and are looking for new volunteers to join us! ☕ Who are we looking for? Someone reliable who can take 2 shifts per month .
Shifts are 3 hours long, and we will try our best to make sure there are at least 2 volunteers on at the same time, so that you're never on your own. The work is straightforward and enjoyable: making coffee, tea, serving soft drinks and snacks, and being a warm, welcoming face for our customers.
No café experience is needed. We'll teach you everything you need to know. The most important thing is that you want to be part of building something for the community. You must be able to legally reside in Denmark and be allowed to volunteer.
What do we offer? A warm, welcoming group of people who will make you feel right at home 2 free cups of coffee or tea per shift The chance to learn new skills and be part of building something from the ground up The option to get involved in our working groups: SoMe & communications, events, HR, and more We also organise volunteer-only hygge events to hang out together.
Think potluck dinners, bonfire parties, and karaoke nights. It's the perfect way to meet new friends and become part of a friendly community. All proceeds we generate are reinvested into the café and the events we run – so we can keep going.
