Based in our new domicile in Copenhagen, you will be part of our dynamic Markets division under LC&I, collaborating with market experts within Fixed Income, FX and equity trading.Our team values collaboration within the bank and leveraging advanced systems that connect our offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, London, and New York.

Role Overview
As a Junior Execution Trader, you will participate in execution of a vast majority of cash equity products for both retail and institutional clients. Your responsibilities include general trading activities, assisting senior traders with order execution and daily routines, and supporting colleagues in Danske Bank branches and LC&I clients with trading-related issues.You will be closely involved with the Equity Trading and Execution teams in the Nordics and contribute to projects aimed at advancing our trading and execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- High Touch cash equity order execution for institutional clients.
- Flow management and operational risk handling on the trading desk.
- Support colleagues in Danske Bank branches and LC&I on trading-related queries.
- Optimize the auto-routing logic of our advanced systems to secure efficient execution and minimize operational risk.
- Participate in projects to advance trading and execution capabilities, leveraging data and integrating desk tools and systems.
- On-the-job training with ongoing feedback and support from colleagues and clients.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in cash equity trading, order handling, and delivering high-quality execution for internal and external clients.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness; able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of financial markets, market micro/macrostructure, and how news and events impact equity liquidity and execution.
- Strong understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment.
- Outspoken, motivated, and team-oriented, with a commitment to providing “best in class” service even in a hectic environment.
- Full proficiency in spoken and written English and Nordics.
