As our new Student Assistant – Quality Systems & Process Improvement, you will support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS). You thrive in a structured environment and enjoy working with processes, documentation, and data that help organizations operate more efficiently.
You will work closely with our Quality Manager and collaborate across departments, contributing to tasks such as process mapping, documentation, internal audits, and digital workflows. As this role offers a high degree of involvement, you will gain hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and have the opportunity to influence how quality and operational processes are structured and maintained.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support both quality systems and operational improvement by:
- Support maintenance and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System
- Assist with documentation of procedures, work instructions, and operational processes
- Help map and structure operational workflows and process documentation
- Support internal audits, inspections, and follow-up on corrective actions
- Assist with handling non-conformances and quality reporting
- Support development and maintenance of digital workflows and documentation systems used across operations
- Assist in implementing improvements to how quality and operational data is structured and maintained
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across quality and operations
Qualifications
We imagine that you:
- Are in the final year of a bachelor’s degree or beginning a master’s degree within Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Quality Management, or a related field
- Have a strong interest in quality systems, compliance, and process improvement
- Have a basic understanding of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards (an advantage, not a requirement)
- Are familiar with Microsoft tools such as Visio, SharePoint, Excel, and Power Automate
- Have experience with digital inspection or workflow platforms (a plus, but not required)
- Are structured, analytical, and detail-oriented
- Are comfortable working across teams and communicating with different stakeholders
