Job Description

We are seeking a structured and experienced Logistic Manager to oversee material flows on utility-scale PV projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the flow of materials to and on site, including receipt, registration, incoming quality control, storage, and issuance of materials to subcontractors. You will play a key role in ensuring that all project materials are handled safely, correctly and efficiently to support smooth site execution.

The Logistic Manager will work in close cooperation with the wider site team, including project management, construction, quality and HSE functions, and will be supported by 1–3 logistics colleagues, whom you will coordinate in the daily operation.

This is a site-based role with significant travel activity, and candidates should expect to work on project sites for extended periods depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all logistics and material flow activities on utility-scale PV construction sites.
  • Receive, inspect, register and organize all incoming materials, components and equipment delivered to site.
  • Perform and coordinate incoming quality control of delivered materials to verify compliance with purchase orders, packing lists, specifications and visible quality requirements.
  • Identify, report and follow up on damaged, missing or non-conforming materials in coordination with site management, procurement and suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate material registration, traceability and stock control using project tools, spreadsheets or document management systems.
  • Plan and control on-site storage in a safe, structured and efficient manner, including laydown areas, access routes and handling zones.
  • Coordinate the issuance and handover of materials to subcontractors, ensuring correct quantities, proper documentation and alignment with the construction schedule.
  • Lead and coordinate the daily work of 1–3 logistics team members, ensuring clear task allocation and effective collaboration.
  • Work closely with the site team to align deliveries, storage capacity, installation priorities and daily operational needs.
  • Support progress by ensuring that materials are available at the right place and time to avoid delays and disruptions to site activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of received, stored and issued materials, including discrepancy reports and stock status.
  • Ensure that all logistics activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site rules, project procedures and good practice.
  • Coordinate unloading operations and material handling activities with relevant site functions and subcontractors.
  • Support audits, inspections and handover processes by maintaining accurate logistics and material documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of site logistics processes, housekeeping and material control practices.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant background within logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, construction site coordination or a similar field.
  • Experience from a logistics, warehouse, site materials management or similar role, preferably from utility-scale PV, wind, BESS or other energy/infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with site-based material handling, goods receipt, stock control and coordination of deliveries.
  • Good understanding of construction site logistics, including safe unloading, storage, preservation and distribution of materials.
  • Experience with incoming goods inspection and basic quality control of delivered materials.
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to documentation, tracking and follow-up.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, including site management, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
  • Experience leading or coordinating a small team is an advantage.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to react calmly and practically to changing site conditions.
  • Proficient in standard IT tools such as email, Excel and reporting/documentation systems.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site for extended periods as required by project execution
