What you will be doing Our team of Business Developers help to transform our corporate and business segment strategies into new opportunity spaces through knowledge of trends within e.g. food, agriculture, sustainability, digitalization and a deep understanding of our customers’ challenges. The customer is always in the center of what we do, and a crucial part of the job is to understand how our customers operate, their needs, our competitors’ offerings, and the market drivers across industries, countries, and regions.

- in close collaboration with customers, partners, the commercial owner and other key, internal stakeholders Facilitating early validation of the desirability and actual usage through pretotyping techniques (creating simplified versions of a solution to test customer interest and behavior) Collection and structuring of data on market sizes, customer profiles, industry trends/insights and competitor intelligence Consolidating and communicating progress and results to key decision makers and stakeholders in the organization Ensuring that the original value proposition and business intent is handed over to R&D and maintained throughout the later stages of our new product development projects You will be part of the Business Development team that, together with the two teams, Analytics Development and Concept Design, are part of the Business Innovation organization.
In Business Innovation we are 30+ colleagues, working together cross-functionally in small, agile project teams towards the same goal of identifying and maturing potential, new solutions for FOSS.

Master’s degree in either economics, commercial or technical discipline combined with some years of experience working with innovation, marketing, or sales of technical products Experience in delivering insights and hypothesis validation through fast, agile ways of working Well-developed ability to manage stakeholders – ensuring that your stakeholders are onboard, informed and engaged Great ability to understand both commercial and technical aspects of a business Solid communication and presentation skills and being used to approach various levels in an organization You value collaboration and succeeding as a team Good English skills
- both written and spoken Preferably experience within food or agricultural related industries We picture you as a person with a pronounced analytical commercial mindset, as well as curiosity and willingness to understand our customers and market drivers.
You are a team player who proactively takes initiatives, and you work structured and analytically to condense insights into recommendations and activities that can be implemented.

Since your role is international, and you will be working with our colleagues and customers in all our Sales & Service Subsidiaries, you should expect a fair amount of travel activity.
On a normal year it will most likely be around 40-60 days- but it all depends on the need and your role.
