About the Job We are looking for a solution-oriented IIoT Support Engineer who will take part in developing and maintaining Aasted IIoT set-up, with a strong focus on customer centricity and integration into our new digital platform, SweetConnect.
In this role you will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external customers to design, implement and optimize digital solutions that enhance equipment performance and customer experience. You will also contribute technical expertise in automation, remote troubleshooting and process improvements, supporting our global service network and ensuring seamless operation of connected equipment worldwide.
Your daily workplace will be on-site at our headquarter in Farum. About the role Aasted’s new digital platform, SweetConnect, is setting new standards for digital customer journeys. A key feature of the portal is the ability to track and predict machine performance in real time by connecting multiple measurement points to our solution.
As IIoT Development Engineer you will play a pivotal role in defining, implementing and maintaining these machine data points across our entire product portfolio, forming the foundation for real-time monitoring, advanced analytics and the next generation of digital services on SweetConnect.
You will also be responsible for continuously improving our IIoT solutions in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners. About the Team You will join our E-commerce Team, part of the Aftersales division. Our team is dedicated to supporting customers and their equipment worldwide.
We focus on delivering the best possible solutions and experiences—both digitally and physically—and you will work alongside a diverse group of colleagues with many different competencies. About You Ideally, you come from a position where you are used to working closely with customers and have experience with programming and technical understanding on mechanical solutions.
You are motivated by designing solutions that will give customers the best experience. Your primary tasks: IIOT integration of Aasted and customers via the SweetConnect platform. Integration of new machines: Ensure all new machines are equipped with IIoT connectivity (via Inuatek) and can be integrated with SweetConnect.
Data point development: Design, standardize and validate data points across all machine types to enable real-time monitoring, performance analysis and predictive maintenance. Development of digital services: To support products, such as: Online monitoring via SweetConnect.
Warranty extension in connection with new sales. SAT dashboard: Create a dashboard to track and document SAT runs for standard machines. Continuous operations and maintenance: Maintain and optimize existing IIoT solutions in collaboration with internal departments and external suppliers.
Additional responsibility/Secondary task: App development for the SweetConnect platform. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above, in Marine or Automation Engineering. 2-5 years' work Experience using Siemens S7, Scout & Rockwell both PLC and Servo.
Proven experience in IIoT programming and data integration. Skills in writing of Apps and developing digital services Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English. Service minded with great problem-solving skills.
