Site QEHS Specialist - Taulov
This role is all about being present in production and acting as a strong quality and EHS partner. You will be the natural point of contact when QEHS matters arise and someone who dares to stand firm when quality is being deprioritized. Carl Henrik Pedersen, Senior QEHS ManagerHow will you make an impact Reporting to the Senior QEHS Manager, you will play a central role in safeguarding food safety, quality and compliance at our Taulov site.
The position has a strong production-facing focus and requires daily interaction with operators, technicians and production management. You will act as one point of contact for Quality and EHS matters in production and coordinate closely with the broader QEHS organization when specialist support is needed.
Your key responsibilities include Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements Acting as production’s primary contact for QEHS-related questions and deviations Preparing for and participating in internal and external audits (e.g. customers, authorities, certifications) Handling deviations, CAPAs and risk assessments in close collaboration with production Facilitating food safety / hazard team meetings Supporting risk assessments related to maintenance activities, processes and equipment Contributing to continuous improvement of quality and food safety systems What will make you successful You are a quality-minded professional who enjoys being out on the production floor, engaging with people and understanding how things work in practice.
You are confident in your professional judgement and able to stand firm on quality and food safety, even when facing production pressure or economic considerations. We imagine that you Have experience with quality and/or food safety within food production Have knowledge of food safety standards (e.g. IFS, HACCP, ISO 22000 or similar) Enjoy working close to operations and interacting with many stakeholders Are structured, systematic and comfortable handling audits and deviations Have a basic understanding of EHS / occupational health and safety (specialist level not required) Communicate clearly and confidently in both Danish and English Your educational background could be within food technology, engineering or a similar field, but the right mindset and motivation are more important than years of experience.
