Working as a Student Assistant in BITLAB
BITLAB is a tech lab where students can meet, collaborate, and experience new technologies, while receiving technical advice for their projects. We work closely with students to facilitate and motivate their studies. We help them develop interesting ideas for theses and course projects where they can utilize immersive technologies such as VR, HoloLens, and holograms.We work with the newest technologies and hardware.
We are looking for one or two highly motivated student(s) to join the team. The position is between 5 to 10 hours per week, with highly flexible working hours.
Specifics for the position
Your responsibilities will, among other things, include helping to organize events and managing logistics around tech events with major technology companies. You will be in direct contact with large tech companies to organize events for students in BITLAB.
Furthermore, you will support the existing BITLAB staff in the daily operation of the lab and take care of practical tasks around BITLAB. An example of daily tasks could be being available to lend gadgets to students at agreed times.
The person
You are an excellent communicator in English (Danish is not required) and are comfortable socializing and engaging in small talk. You have the skills and confidence to present and to meet deadlines when needed. You can work independently as well as in teams and have good organizational skills.You are willing to learn new technical skills and technologies.
It’s a plus if you:
Have experience with event planning
Have programming experience
Have experience with immersive technologies

Salary and terms of employment
Employment takes place in accordance with the HK organisational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Publicly Employed Organisations (OAO-S Collective Agreement).
The salary currently ranges between DKK 142,98 and DKK 149,99 per hour and is dependent on previous employment in the office profession and level of education. The pension contribution amounts to 16% of the pensionable salary components.
It is a prerequisite for employment that you are an active student at a higher educational institution.
