Product & Quality Specialist

AN OVERVIEW OF THIS ROLE

As a Product & Quality Specialist at Officeguru, you will own quality across our entire platform, covering both the customer and vendor sides of our marketplace in Denmark and Germany. This is a new role on the team, identified by the team itself and born from a real need to bring dedicated quality ownership as we continue to grow the product and increase our development velocity.

This makes the role broader than a traditional QA position and a great fit for someone who wants to help build solid products end to end.

• Plan and execute systematic manual testing across the entire platform for each cycle, covering new features, regression scenarios, and edge cases across web and mobile.
• Define testing strategy for each cycle and maintain the test cases and test plans that give the team confidence in what we ship.
• Expand our automated test suite (PHPUnit, Cypress, Jest) and continuously improve our testing infrastructure, including CI/CD integration, API testing, and test reporting.
• Identify, communicate, and prioritise bugs and UX issues, managing the bug backlog and writing clear reports that developers can act on immediately.
• Collaborate with PM, designer, and developers throughout our Shape Up cycles (6-week build cycles followed by 2-week cooldowns), challenging the team on edge cases and bringing a quality-first perspective to product discussions.
• Support PM and designer by helping finalise pitch details and acceptance criteria, and contributing to wireframes and prototypes.
• Help customer-facing teams when they run into tricky product questions that need deep product knowledge, and create onboarding material and internal training for new features.

• Experience with QA or testing in a software product, ideally in a SaaS or marketplace environment where you've worked across multiple user types and workflows.
• A structured, product-focused approach that thinks in user journeys and prioritises what matters most rather than trying to test everything.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to write bug reports developers can act on without back-and-forth.
• Comfort working in a small team where everyone contributes broadly and where your voice shapes how we work.
• Openness to new technology, especially using AI efficiently to be as productive as possible.
• Fluency in Danish and English.

We welcome candidates with different backgrounds. If you have come from development, customer support, or product roles and have developed strong QA instincts along the way, we would love to hear from you.

• Experience with automated testing and API testing, and comfort writing and maintaining test code across the full stack.
• Experience with performance testing and monitoring.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and how automated tests fit into a deployment workflow.
• Experience with Shape Up or similar frameworks that emphasise focus and autonomy.
• Experience in a marketplace or multi-sided platform where you've tested across different user types.
• Conversational German (we also operate in Berlin).
