Trucking dispatcher / transport planner, DK-6330 Padborg

Contino Transport has a separate department with a fleet of trucks, that do haulage (trucking) for European logistic- and shipping companies.

Our service is to provide own semitrucks and drivers. Our clients within the shipping industry dispatch our trucks and have access to our telematic. The clients communicate directly with our drivers.

For that trucking department we offer a job as trucking dispatcher.

The main tasks are:

• Planning work schedules for the drivers
• Monitoring that the drivers work efficient but also do not violate the driving and rest regulations
• Make sure the trucks are planned to go to workshop for repairs and maintenance
• Cooperate with our technical department, insurance department and book keepers
• Hiring and onboarding new colleagues (truck drivers)
• Communicate with clients and drivers to assure a good cooperation and an efficient production
• Keeping the clients informed about driver exchanges (vacation, sickness etc.)
• Ad hoc office work (archive papers from the drivers, control credit notes from clients etc.
• Developing new business opportunities in close cooperation with the department manager

You:

• Have experience with working as dispatcher
• You know the basic technique around trucks and trailers
• You are familiar with the work and rest regulations for truck drivers
• Speak and write English (important)
• It is an advantage if you also speak either Lithuanian, Romanian, Polish, Bulgarian or Ukrainian language
