Experienced Technical Project Manager - R&D

Our customers are within Space, Securing Civil Critical Infrastructure and the defense, with specific products for both surveillance- and tracking radars. Our projects are very cross-functional and involve development in areas such as microwave, electronics, PCB layout, mechanics, application software, and embedded software, and we work closely together with all other parts of our company e.g., our production and sales departments. As part of our strategy, we wish to secure a greater number of projects that are built on a standardized platform.
These projects will require specific R&D tailoring of an existing platform to satisfy customers with tailored solutions. The projects are very important to both our customers and to Weibel, and we need to build processes and ways of working to secure efficiency and a high output in both R&D and Operations to support this.The primary tasks Drive a number of smaller or medium size projects in parallel Create a strong organization, set up, and processes to ensure efficiency and high cadence Plan and follow-up on all hardware, electrical, and mechanics activities on the projects Guiding and finding solutions to the technical challenges together with the project team Determining, creating and implementing the best Ways of Working for the project Reporting of status, progress, cost, quality, and risk As our new Technical Project Manager, you will be referring to the VP, R&D.
As the ideal candidate you have Run several technical projects with success +3 years of experience with Technical Project Management A Technical / Engineering background, within SW, Electronics or Mechanics Experience in developing and implementing processes across product development It would be an advantage if you have Worked with radio or microwave technology Experience with Agile development processes, like Scrum and Essential SAFe Knowledge with different project methodologies like Prince II or PMI We offer You will join a Danish high tech market leader with a predominately export customer base.
