Based at our headquarters in Kolding, Denmark, you will be responsible for building, developing, and leading a high-performing trading team while driving commercial growth across global markets. As we expand internationally and establish new offices around the world, you will play a central role in ensuring operational excellence, performance management, and alignment across locations.

Your Role

As Head of Trading, you will be responsible for the overall performance, development, and strategic direction of the trading department.

While leadership and team development will be your primary focus, you will also maintain your own customer portfolio and contribute directly to commercial performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching, and developing a team of traders
• Building a high-performance culture focused on accountability, growth, and collaboration
• Driving recruitment and onboarding of new trading talent
• Developing and implementing trading strategies aligned with company objectives
• Managing departmental performance, targets, and KPIs
• Supporting traders in customer acquisition and business development activities
• Maintaining and growing your own portfolio of customers
• Identifying new market opportunities and commercial partnerships
• Working closely with executive management on strategic initiatives and growth plans
• Supporting the establishment and integration of future international offices
• Traveling regularly to existing and future company locations worldwide
• Representing Dynamic Energy Supply at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced trading professional with strong leadership capabilities and a genuine passion for developing people and organizations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience within bunker trading
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and people
• Strong commercial track record with documented trading success
• Experience developing customer relationships and growing business portfolios
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organizational and operational management abilities
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach
• Ability to perform in a fast-growing and entrepreneurial environment
• Willingness to travel internationally as part of the role
• Fluent in English, written and spoken. Additional languages will be considered an advantage.
