Together, we create solutions that Improve Tomorrow. About the Job As an Embedded SW Developer, you’ll be an integral part of DEIF’s skilled embedded SW Team focusing on measurement and protection. Your primary focus will be ensuring our products not only meet various grid connection standards but also exceed market requirements.
You will play a key role in translating complex technical standards into actionable product specifications and implementations, ensuring our systems remain compliant and innovative. Working tasks & responsibilities Develop SW within the embedded SW and your team’s domain.
Translate grid conncection standards like (IEEE1547, RfG; VDE4110, IEC 60255) into product-specific implementations. Ensure testing methods for protection systems and transducers are compliant with said standards. Oversee the accuracy of measurement algorithms, ensuring compliance with market standards Provide support for technical documentation related to measurement and protection.
Improve structure of frameworks and apply platform structure across products. In addition to an exciting job full of challenging tasks, you will experience a professional work environment where collaboration, interdependence, and co-determination are watchwords.

In addition to this, we offer two home offices days on Mondays and Fridays. What you’ll bring A master’s degree in engineering, preferably within electrical engineering or a similar field. Adapt developer skills in HW near code (C, C++) and application of digital signal processing Experience with interpreting grid connection and protection standards and product compliance.
Experience within converters, power systems, protection systems, or related areas. Advanced communication skills in English You are thorough, detail-oriented, and thrive in managing complex challenges. Your problem-solving abilities and clear communication make you a trusted expert and decision-maker.
