Test Engineer – QA in R&D

We are looking for an ambitious Product Tester in R&D, here we work within all disciplines from software over mechanics to electronics. You will join our software scrum team and cooperate closely with all 3 R&D teams using agile methods.

Your main tasks will be software testing of our App, with connection to robot and back-end systems. Secondary testing new accessories attached to the robot. Testing is a mix of desktop work in the Malling office and in-field testing at our outdoor facilities or with customers.

Qualifications:

  • You have worked with product testing in relation to product development for 3-5 years, as a part of your ongoing career.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience in designing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Proficiency in applying various testing methodologies, such as functional testing, performance testing, usability testing, and integration testing.
  • Experience in testing software interfaces and applications.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and well-documented test reports and bug reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment using Agile methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop detailed test plans and test cases, focusing on software functionality and sports template accuracy.
  • Perform thorough testing of the robot's software interface and sports template execution.
  • Conduct functional testing to verify the accuracy and consistency of line marking parameters, such as line width, paint flow, and marking speed.
  • Execute usability testing to assess the ease of use and user-friendliness of the software interface.
  • Perform integration testing to ensure the seamless interaction of different software components.
  • Analyze test results, identify software defects, and create well-structured and detailed bug reports.
  • Produce comprehensive and well-documented test reports, summarizing test activities, results, and conclusions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and product managers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
