Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer
You’ll work alongside talented colleagues to design and shape technologies the world has never seen before — solutions built to perform in the most demanding defence environments, where every design decision truly counts. What you’ll be doing As our new RF Engineer, you’ll take part in the full product cycle – from early concept and simulation to field-tested, certified systems.
You’ll be designing and verifying high-performance RF hardware and antenna systems that must perform flawlessly in the most demanding environments. Some days you’ll be deep in simulation and PCB design — other days you’ll be tuning prototypes in the lab, out testing in real-world conditions, or collaborating closely with colleagues across hardware, software, and production.
Your role will include: Designing and simulating RF circuits such as filters, high-power amplifiers (typically >10 W), and SDRs Developing and verifying antenna designs (and we promise to not stay withing those limits) Building RF receivers in the 100 MHz–6 GHz range — and we don’t plan to stop there Performing RF measurements using spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, and other test tools Conducting EM simulations using CST or AWR Designing and laying out PCBs in OrCAD with a strong focus on manufacturability and RF performance Ensuring EMC-correct design and supporting product certification (CE, FCC, MIL-810, RED, etc.) Designing and deploying RF test systems and setups Collaborating with production, suppliers, and test labs to ensure robust and compliant solutions What we’re looking for You’re an engineer at heart — curious, hands-on, and motivated by solving complex challenges with real-world impact.

We imagine that you: Hold a master’s degree in Electrical and RF Engineering or equivalent experience Have + 5 years solid experience with several of the areas listed above — especially RF design, antenna development, and hands-on lab work Are confident using RF measurement equipment and simulation tools Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and can work systematically from idea to validated result Communicate clearly in English and enjoy teamwork across disciplines Experience with defence-grade communication systems is a plus – and if you’ve also worked with areas like baseband design, software-defined radio, digital signal processing, or programming (VEE, C, or Python), that’s even better.
