Your new role
As our new Associate Finance Partner, you will help create financial transparency and support accuracy in investment spending across our large portfolio of investment projects. You will join a broad team of experienced finance professionals who work closely together on financial planning and analysis, production economy and performance management.The team is fully committed to supporting your learning and professional development, and this role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment controlling and finance partnering in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Your day-to-day areas of responsibilities include:
- Financial planning, resource allocation, and budgeting
- Financial controlling and reporting to senior management
- Helping create transparency and financial insights on investment and operating costs in close collaboration with stakeholders and team members
- Supporting and challenging project budgets in collaboration with senior colleagues
- Contributing to the development and continues improvement of financial processes
Your new department
You will join API Finance – a team covering financial planning, production economy, and performance management for all investment projects and operating factories across API. We drive business insights and support senior management in financial processes and strategic resource allocation.API is the area in Novo Nordisk producing the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for all our patients worldwide.

Your skills and qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field, and have 0–2 years of relevant experience (for example from internships, student jobs, graduate roles, or entry-level positions), preferably within a manufacturing or CAPEX environment.
Additionally, to succeed in the role, you have:
- Basic experience or strong interest in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling
- An interest in CAPEX projects and investment finance
- Good analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly
- A structured approach and the ability to deliver high-quality work, even when priorities change
- A willingness to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and learn stakeholder management
You can work both independently and as part of a team. Most importantly, you are flexible, eager to take on new challenges, and enthusiastic about developing your career within Novo Nordisk.
