Surveyor/Draughtsman
This role is critical to ensuring fabrication and installation works are prepared correctly, compliant with client standards, and executed safely offshore. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out offshore surveys and producing detailed fabrication drawings for gratings, handrails, piping, and associated FMC scopes.
Working closely with offshore supervisors, work preparation teams, and client representatives, you will ensure all survey data and drawings meet TotalEnergies (TEPDK) and Altrad specifications, as well as all QHSE requirements. Key Responsibilities Conduct offshore site surveys for FMC scopes including gratings, handrails, and piping Use a range of survey methods from manual measurement to advanced 3D laser scanning Produce accurate fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Navisworks in line with TEPDK standards Revise and update drawings following technical and work preparation reviews Ensure all drawings, surveys, and documentation comply with client and Altrad specifications Carry out quality checks on survey data and drawings Support work order (WO) preparation, maturation, and documentation as required Work closely with offshore supervisors, work preparers, and engineering teams during execution Required Experience & Certifications Proven experience in offshore surveying and draughting within FMC or similar offshore environments Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, and draughting tools Experience with 3D scanning tools and software Familiarity with offshore work permit systems, HSE protocols, and logistics Experience using SAP Unisol Valid offshore certifications, including: BOSIET / FOET CA-EBS H2S Offshore Medical (OGUK/OEUK or Norwegian equivalent) Permit to Work Key Interfaces Asset Focal Points Work Preparation Teams Client Work Order Responsible Offshore Supervisors Procurement & Materials Quality Department What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy Comfortable working offshore and engaging directly with site teams Able to manage multiple work orders and changing priorities Strong safety mindset with a clear understanding of offshore QHSE requirements Altrad Services A/S is a company that primarily deals with the maintenance of energy infrastructure.
