Save Company Profile Follow Following Share Purpose of the role IQX is FOSS’ digital platform supporting food and feed companies globally in managing quality, compliance, and supplier ecosystems. As part of this, Supplier Quality (SQ) and Food Safety (FS) are critical domains enabling customers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations at scale.
The SME – Product (SQ & FS) ensures that domain expertise in food safety and supplier quality is translated into scalable, practical, and high-impact product capabilities. The role acts as the bridge between industry reality and product development, ensuring that features, workflows, and data models reflect regulatory requirements, best practices, and real operational needs across global customers.
Key accountabilities Product definition and domain ownership Provide subject matter expertise to shape SQ & FS product capabilities, including supplier management, risk assessment, audit workflows, and compliance processes. Translate regulatory frameworks and industry practices into clear product requirements, user stories, and validation criteria.
Ensure that solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with real-world operational use. Industry alignment and risk translation Continuously monitor food safety and supplier quality trends, risks, and regulatory developments. Embed best practices into the platform, ensuring customers can manage compliance, audits, and corrective actions effectively.
Identify gaps between product capability and industry needs, and drive improvements Customer insight and validation Engage directly with customers through interviews, workshops, and feedback sessions. Understand operational challenges and maturity levels across different segments.
Translate insights into actionable product improvements and prioritized recommendations. Cross-functional collaboration Work closely with Product, Engineering, UX/UI, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment between design, build, and real-world usage.
Act as a key contributor in backlog refinement, sprint validation, and roadmap discussions. Support Customer Success and Sales on complex domain-specific topics. Enablement and knowledge development Contribute to training materials, playbooks, and guidance for customers and internal teams.

Support consistent implementation of SQ & FS workflows across the customer base. Ensure knowledge is captured and scalable across regions and teams. Success criteria The role is successful when: SQ & FS product capabilities reflect industry best practice and regulatory requirements Customers can operationalise supplier quality and food safety processes effectively within the platform Product decisions are grounded in real customer needs and validated use cases Cross-functional teams have clear, actionable domain input Customer Success teams are enabled to deliver consistent, high-quality guidance Your profile We expect you to bring the following professional experience: Proven experience in food safety, quality assurance, or supplier quality management within food, feed, or agricultural industries Strong working knowledge of food safety standards and frameworks (e.g. HACCP, GFSI schemes, ISO 22000, BRCGS, FSSC 22000) Experience translating operational processes into structured workflows, systems, or product requirements Ability to work closely with Product and Engineering teams to define requirements and validate solutions Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical and regulatory concepts clearly Professional proficiency in English We expect you to bring the following competencies: Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving Ability to translate complex requirements into practical, usable solutions Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams Customer-oriented mindset with strong listening and questioning skills Pragmatic and outcome-focused (balances compliance with usability) Confidence influencing without formal authority Embark on our new division’s journey We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so we look forward to hearing from you soon.
