Academic staff contribute to the teaching.
English is the preferred language in the laboratory, at meetings and at seminars.
The department employs approx.
500 people from all over the world, and they make use of the department's modern laboratory-, core- and animal facilities.
The Department of Biomedicine focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship and collaboration with business and industry, and numerous researchers from the department have established companies to develop new medicinal treatments founded in professional scientific basic research.
You can read more about the department here and about the faculty here.Your job responsibilities As Special Consultant, your primary tasks are to secure and further develop the novel diagnostic devices that we have created in our innovation project.
In this context you are expected to manage experimental and clinical research projects that address the pathophysiology of systemic acid base disturbances of different disease.
These tasks will be completed the 31st of December 2027.
In your daily work, you have a close interaction with competent colleagues.Your main tasks will consist of: Research management and support Animal experiments Sparring and interdisciplinary collaboration Grant writing to create funding for a planned spin-out company Supervision of data analysis and data collection in several clinical studies Administrative responsibilities You will report to the Prof.
Jens Leipziger Your competences You have a strong background within kidney research and experience with project management.Experience with animal experiments and data analysis will be considered necessary.As a person, you have good interpersonal skills, are inclusive and team-oriented and able to contribute to a good work environment.We expect you to be fluent in oral and written English.
