The Role: Strategic Development and Strong Execution
As International Account Manager, you'll report directly to our CRO and hold commercial responsibility for a portfolio of key international customers.
Your role is dedicated to Account Growth. This means your primary focus is growing and optimizing our business with existing partners, identifying and approaching new potential partners, and ensuring smooth commercial onboarding of new strategic customers.The role is 70% account growth with current distributors and 30% new business development with potential partners and rental companies in Germany, the Netherlands, and beyond.
This is a role for a business developer. You'll analyze markets, identify untapped customer potential, and execute sales and distribution strategies that position SoRoTo prominently in the landscape. You'll leverage SoRoTo's digital and inbound marketing as a key differentiator, helping distributors generate qualified leads and grow end-user sales.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks- Portfolio Growth: You analyze sales data and drive targeted initiatives to increase revenue per customer through product mix optimization, pricing strategy, sales and marketing efforts, and customer base expansion.
- Strategic Negotiation: You manage contract negotiations and annual reviews with focus on margin and long-term commitments, working closely with the CRO.
- Sales Management and KPIs: You work systematically with CRM (HubSpot) and sales data to monitor performance, pipeline, and forecasts – reporting proactively to the CRO.
- Market Presence: You participate in relevant trade shows and travel to partners as needed, driving business forward through commercial engagement and training.
- Hands-on execution in both back office functions and sales.
Your Profile and Qualifications
We're looking for someone who knows their sales tools inside out. You're analytically strong and base your decisions on data and methodology rather than gut feeling.- Proven Experience: You have several years of international B2B sales experience. You can demonstrate concrete results—measurable growth in existing portfolios, customer base expansion, and the tools and techniques you've used to achieve it.
- Strategic Mindset: You approach account management as active business development. You don't rely solely on relationships; instead, you work proactively and data-driven to improve your portfolio's performance.
- CRM Proficiency: You have deep experience using CRM systems to drive your sales efforts. Direct HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Education: You hold a relevant commercial degree (e.g., Cand.merc., HD, or equivalent) or have equivalent experience and strong business acumen.
- Languages: You speak and write Danish, German, and English at a professional negotiation level. Other languages are a plus.
- Personality: You're ambitious, persistent, and thrive when measured on results. You have impact and aren't afraid to constructively challenge both customers and colleagues.
