Join Welcon’s Quality Control Team
Welcon is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of towers for offshore wind turbines. Our factory in Give supplies more than half of the offshore towers worldwide – because we focus on quality and reliable delivery.
We are now expanding our team and looking for one new employee to join our Quality Control team in the Finish Department. This is where we handle the final details before the towers move on to surface treatment. We must ensure a proper final result that meets both our own and our customers’ standards.
Your tasks
As part of our Quality Control team, you will play an important role in the daily work. Among other things, you will:
- Measure flanges (the large connecting rings) using laser technology – they range from 3 to 10 meters in diameter and will be even larger in future projects.
- Check that brackets, bushes, and other parts are positioned correctly and in the right numbers.
- Complete the required documentation so that we meet customer requirements.
- You show up reliably and on time.
- You work with respect for your colleagues and common rules.
- You can read technical drawings (training will be provided).
- You can speak and write basic English.
- You can use IT to follow simple instructions.
- You contribute to teamwork and good communication.
Working hours
This is a day shift position with the following schedule:
- 06:00 – 18:00
- Two-week rotation plan.
