We are looking for an ambitious Legal and Compliance Counsel to become part of our amazing Group Legal team. Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will join a team of 7 highly skilled and dedicated colleagues. In the team, we are supporting Danish Crown’s strategic and operational agenda, and you will get an important role within the team, taking lead on various compliance programmes for the organization.
This means that you in this role will get a seat at the table so you can truly make an impact in a large, global organization. In the team, we advise the full, global organization. We have a commercial mindset and are always keen to find the best legal and compliance solutions to any challenges we face, while ensuring the operational side of things.

Your main responsibility in this role is to provide day-to-day legal and compliance advice to a wide range of internal clients and senior leadership members of Danish Crown, as well as owning various compliance programmes.
Your main responsibilities are: Owner of our Anti-bribery and corruption framework. Owner of our Whistleblower framework (together with Finance). Owner of our Risk Management framework (together with Finance). Specialist role within Human Rights regulations, supporting our overall ambitious Sustainability agenda.
Should you not at this time in your career possess specialist knowledge within this area, training and courses will be provided to the right candidate with an interest within this area. Training of the organization within various compliance areas, including ownership of mandatory, legal eLearning courses.
Review, draft, and revise international commercial contracts, data processing agreements, NDAs, etc. Together with the rest of the Group Legal team and internal clients, you will help to identify and implement process improvements in general.
Further, you will play an important role in keeping the organization updated on legal and compliance matters impacting relevant business areas or departments. Open-minded and curious with a cooperative mindset You hold a master’s degree in Law or Business Law supplemented with 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably from a law firm working with international clients or a legal department in an international company.
You are a curious and ambitious self-starter with a strong desire to learn the business and new areas of law. Furthermore, you are detailed-oriented and have strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. You have a business-friendly approach to legal problem solving and the ability to effectively counsel internal clients by providing them with clear and concise practical advice as well as creative solutions.
As a person you are outgoing and sublime in creating and maintaining strong and trustful relations. You communicate effectively across all levels and keep relevant stakeholders regularly and timely updated. You are a dedicated team player who strives to deliver quality in every aspect of your work.
