About us
In Group Risk Analytics, we are building the next generation of credit risk models to help the bank and our customers better manage money in times of need. Our team consists of nine people from various countries, co-located in Copenhagen and Vilnius.With diverse backgrounds, we share a common drive to turn data into models that make sense of the world around us. Most of our time is spent coding in Python and, to a lesser extent, SQL, but we maintain close collaboration with stakeholders in finance, impairments, and credit risk management.
The work is demanding but also meaningful, with a fun atmosphere—and the opportunity to drive concrete improvements.
About the role
You will join a dynamic team where your skills or interest in data science, Python, and AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and CoPilot will be highly valued. You will actively participate in our meetings, contributing to statistical and coding discussions.Beyond this, you will connect with other teams to understand how we collaborate and suggest ways to enhance our projects. This is a fulltime internship of ideally 6 months. We imagine you are a student who can join as part of your studies as an academic intern
Your key responsibilities:
- Participate in team meetings to discuss statistical and coding matters.
- Engage with other teams to understand cross-functional collaboration.
- Suggest improvements to ongoing projects to optimise processes.
- Support the development and implementation of AI and data-driven solutions.
About you
We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and ready to face challenges with curiosity and creativity. You should have a combination of technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and good communication abilities to thrive in this role.
- Structured and analytical with good problem-solving skills
- Able to manage their own workload with great collaboration skills and a proactive attitude
- Understanding of data science and familiarity with Python
- Knowledge of mainstream AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and CoPilot
- Proficiency in verbal and written English, as our company language is English
You might also bring knowledge in developing innovative solutions, bridging data science with business strategy, or managing frameworks for digital business. Additionally, skills in implementing and optimising AI solutions to create value for organisations would be highly relevant.
