Become a Networker for a Man Would you like to make a difference? Right now, DRC Integration is looking for a volunteer Network Person in Aarhus for a man in his mid-60s. Contact organisation He hopes to meet for something social and enjoys being outdoors.As a volunteer, you can help create security in everyday life with positive experiences. How to get started You agree together what you want to meet about, and when and how often it suits you both. You also decide where you meet. Typically, you meet for a couple of hours every other week.
We help you get started and offer ongoing sparring along the way. What does the role entail? The role of networker is flexible. The most important thing is that you: Have the time and desire to get to know another person and enter into an equal and supportive relationship.
Is spacious and welcoming. Is patient, stable and can meet approximately once every two weeks. Live in or around Aarhus (if you live further away, we will cover your transportation costs). Good relationships take time to build – that's why we hope you want to commit for at least six months, preferably longer.
What do you get as a volunteer? The opportunity to get to know another person and make a real difference in their life. Access to relevant, free courses at DRC Danish Refugee Council. Ongoing guidance from an employee at DRC Danish Refugee Council.
You will become a volunteer in the Network Family Initiative, where you as a network person support another person with a refugee background. You will become the part of life that is about everyday life and good experiences that the two of you find together.
