Christoffer Løvstad Christensen, Senior Procurement Category Manager, MRO.How you will make an impact We are looking for a Category Manager to lead procurement initiatives within CIP, detergents, raw chemicals, membranes, filtration, resin, and pumps.
You will drive category strategies, optimize total cost of ownership, and ensure supply reliability, working closely with stakeholders and supplier partners across our global footprint. Furthermore, you will Drive sourcing and optimization initiatives that deliver measurable savings and efficiency gains Implement supplier consolidation strategies to reduce complexity and total cost of ownership Build and manage strategic supplier relationships with focus on performance, innovation, and risk management Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, quality, and finance to ensure alignment and successful implementation Plan and execute tenders, lead negotiations, and establish robust, competitive agreements What will make you successful We are looking for a candidate with solid, relevant experience in indirect procurement—ideally within MRO, technical procurement.
You bring a relevant education, e.g. a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree supply chain, engineering or a related field. To succeed in this role, you likely Possess strong, fact-based negotiation skills with persistence and patience Demonstrate analytical rigor and attention to detail—you convert data into decisions and results Take end-to-end ownership from strategy to contract and implementation Build trusted collaboration across levels and functions Communicate effectively in English and work in a structured yet flexible way What do we offer?
You will be part of a diverse and global Procurement organization located across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, UK, Poland, Dubai, Bahrain, Riyadh, and Hong Kong. On behalf of our global organization, we manage procurement activities covering an annual spend of ~4.3 billion EUR. As part of our Indirect Procurement MRO team, you will manage categories across Arla’s ~60 production sites.You’ll have significant influence from both a commercial and process perspective, working with complex negotiations, a broad stakeholder landscape, and classic category management—backed by a strong team.
