Head of First Line Credit, Corporate DK and Global for LC&I Capital and Credit Portfolio Management within Danske Bank’s Corp
LC&I Capital and Credit Portfolio Management is part of Corporate & Institutional Banking which is the coverage function for the largest customers of the bank. The unit is responsible for capital and balance sheet allocation across the largest customers in the bank and managing the credit risk across the Corporate and institutional customer portfolio.
The role
We are looking for someone to lead the First Line Credit, Corporate DK and Global team. The team is responsible for managing and analysing corporate credit across the Danish and International portfolio, working closely with the coverage team and Second Line Credit.Given our broad industry coverage, we participate in a significant number of industrial scale transactions, large M&As and other complex projects. You will contribute to consistent, well-reasoned decisions in situations with complex credit risk, while being responsible for strong credit decision quality and governance across industries and geographies.
In addition, you will be a member of the Business Council and participate in strategic internal projects.
Your profile
You are a senior leader currently based in Denmark with a proven track record. The following elements will be important to do well in the job- Strong understanding and experience from complex corporate credit
- Team leadership experience from banking
- Ability to navigate the credit process and its key stakeholders
- Good communication skills enabling you to communicate complex messages in an easily understandable way to different stakeholders
- Strong ability to balance numerous tasks simultaneously spanning from ongoing and evolving customer transactions, prioritisation across the task portfolio.
- Continuous focus on refining our ways of working including curiosity on the application of GenAI across processes.
- Enterprise mindset enabling you to find viable solutions across the bank
Team and workplace
The team is located in Copenhagen with analysts in Denmark, Dublin and London. They work closely with the Corporate Banking colleagues across Denmark, Ireland and UK in the origination process and are responsible for analysing the credit risk of corporate customers in terms of the ongoing banking relationship and event driven transactions.
