Financial Controller
Robotto is looking for a sharp, hands-on Financial Controller to help strengthen and scale our finance function as we grow.
We are a Danish software company developing autonomous, vision-based technology for drones and other camera-enabled systems. Robotto is in an exciting growth phase, with a strong focus on defence and security applications, and a clear ambition to build a financially disciplined, scalable business.
This role starts as a part-time position (15 hours per week), with the ambition to grow into a full-time role as the company continues to expand.
As Financial Controller at Robotto, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while helping shape a more mature and scalable financial setup over time. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys both hands-on execution and building processes from the ground up in a growing company.
You will work closely with management, providing visibility into our financial performance and helping ensure sound financial decision-making as we scale.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage and continuously improve the day-to-day finance function
- Support bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end closing
- Prepare financial reporting and management overviews
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
- Support invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and advisors
- Help establish strong finance processes, controls, and reporting structures
- Support project-based financial follow-up where relevant
- Contribute to building a finance function that can scale with the business
- Experience from a similar role in finance, controlling, or accounting
- Strong financial discipline and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently in a small, fast-moving company
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, cash flow, and operational finance
- Structured, reliable, and proactive working style
- Ability to translate numbers into clear, actionable insights for management
- Experience with Danish finance and accounting practices is preferred
- Background from a startup, scale-up, software, or project-driven environment is an advantage
