Electronics Engineer - develop embedded solutions for trusted products
Last year, we introduced our embedded solution, Heylo – the world’s first leakage notification system for stoma care. Embedded solutions are a strategic priority, and we are also working on how to incorporate more sustainability into our products, which so many people rely on worldwide.
Henrik Pedersen, Head of Embedded SystemsJoin our Chronic Care R&D organisation At our HQ in Humlebæk, you will join our Embedded Solutions team, working to incorporate digital devices into our products. We collaborate closely with external partners, and as one of two dedicated Electronics Engineers (your closest colleague has extensive experience in the field), you will play an important role in helping formulate requirements for new products in the electronics domain.
Explore new products and features from every angle Participating in cross-functional projects, you will contribute to technology and innovation value stream (IVS) projects and continuously help build the knowledge needed for future Coloplast innovation projects within the electronics area.
Drawing on your engineering background, you will investigate field failures in electronic devices under the responsibility of our department, and you will participate in technical design reviews, peer reviews and system test campaigns. You will also: Develop concepts and products according to our development model Review electronics releases, including design files, documentation and verification results provided by suppliers Participate in root cause analysis for electronic devices, including analysing failures from verification tests and customer complaints Contribute to the identification of new embedded technologies and suppliers Participate in major improvement activities, processes and department alignment Meticulous engineer with a strong sense of professional curiosity You have a keen interest in deepening your knowledge and advancing your technical proficiency while keeping a wide-angle lens on the field of electronics in medical devices.
This will (over time) make you a well-rounded subject matter expert. Moreover, your ability to both share knowledge and learn from your colleagues can contribute to us building know-how as a team and leveraging the benefits of cross-functional collaboration.Additionally, you have: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (or equivalent) with a focus on electrical engineering, HW/SW engineering or similar Experience with interdisciplinary teamwork Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply these in practice Good communication and presentation skills in English Finally, you either know ISO 13485 and medical device regulations or have an interest in learning.
