As a Senior Consultant or Manager at KPMG, you will play a crucial role in mitigating our clients’ risks by designing, implementing, and validating credit and market risk models.
Joining us means guiding clients through the complexities of established and evolving regulatory frameworks.
About the position As our new colleague in Financial Services Advisory, you will have the opportunity to: Work on projects across financial risk and regulatory domains, focusing on data strategy and governance related to areas such as credit risk, IRB and IFRS 9 frameworks, internal audit, and compliance — while supporting our growth into model development and validation.
Provide strategic financial consulting services to our clients, e.g., banks, financial supervisory authorities, pension funds, and insurance companies.Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
Create and deliver compelling presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Participate in business development, proposals, and client pitches.
Take part in professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
By engaging in diverse projects, you will be intellectually challenged and continuously develop your theoretical competencies and practical toolkits in consultancy.
About you, our newest team member The selected individual will be not only a finance expert but also someone who values continual learning and professional growth.
If you bring: Master's degree or PhD in a data-related field, e.g., Economics, Mathematics, or Finance.
- 5 years of relevant experience in risk management, model development, implementation, or validation within a financial firm, consultancy, or similar setting.
Demonstrated ability in assessing, designing, and implementing credit or market risk models.
The ability to clearly communicate complex issues in verbal and written English.Programming skills in Python, Matlab, R, SAS, and SQL are seen as an advantage.
