On top of that, the approval levels within the Commercial Underwriting organisation give you direct contact with colleagues in Germany and France. No two cases are quite alike: some you resolve quickly, while others require you to gather extra data, test calculations in Excel, challenge a term and put together a proposal that a busy approver can grasp in a few minutes.Getting up to speed takes time, but in return you build deep specialist knowledge of Trade Credit Insurance that can support a career for many years.Your everyday comes with a great deal of flexibility: you choose whether your base is Copenhagen or Vejle.

What matters is that you are in your element when you combine numbers, business and written reasoning – and that you can make a complex assessment simple for others.Beyond that, you take pride in:assessing financial risk, asking precise questions and explaining your conclusion clearly.identifying the main risk in a case and then checking the details that determine price, terms or approval.holding the line on quality, even when a commercial colleague needs a quick answer.speaking up when data is missing, when something is unclear, or when a case calls for a second opinion.using feedback actively and keeping an ongoing dialogue with the colleagues who work directly with clients. To succeed in the role, you can tick off the following qualifications:You hold either a relevant degree in economics or finance – for example cand.merc., cand.merc.mat., cand.merc.jur., HD or finansøkonom – or equivalent professional depth built through experience with credit, risk, portfolios or financial analysis. You translate complex assessments into short, precise recommendations that others can act on.You work confidently in Excel with data, calculations, tables, pivot tables and quality checks.
Coface will test your Excel skills during the process. You communicate with great confidence in English, both spoken and written, and your interviews at Coface are conducted in English.Danish is also an advantage in day-to-day dialogue with local colleagues. It is an advantage if you:Have experience with credit insurance, Trade Credit Insurance or similar B2B risk products.Have experience assessing companies, credit or payment risk, portfolios or financial key figures, ideally from areas such as banking, business advisory, corporate credit, trade finance, factoring or a credit back office.Have hands-on experience with contractual terms, insurance terms, portfolio monitoring, risk analysis or recommendations to committees and approval bodies.Have knowledge of commercial workflows close to Account Management, new sales or client dialogue.Do you want to join the team at Coface?Moment Search & Selection is managing the recruitment process on behalf of Coface.
