As Development Lead in Wealth Back Office Products, you will be closely involved with both people and technology, taking responsibility for the development, maintenance, and operation of all IT solutions within our team.
Our mission is to harness technology to build solutions that support Wealth Management and contribute to Nykredit’s strategic ambitions. About the Role Wealth Back Office Products is part of Wealth Technology, responsible for IT solutions across Asset Management, Back Office, and Operations.
As Development Lead, you will join a team that transforms complex challenges into robust and scalable IT solutions that support business growth and profitability. You will be a key contributor to our strategic Greenfield programme, where we are re-implementing the SimCorp Dimension platform in close collaboration with SimCorp.
You will report to Development Manager Søren Valther Rasmussen and be part of the Wealth Technology Management Team. The team consists of eight colleagues – SimCorp specialists and software developers. Your Responsibilities As Development Lead, you will be both the leadership anchor for the team and the technical partner to the business.
You will communicate clearly, understand business needs, and help translate them into IT solutions. You will hold full HR and leadership responsibility and act as a role model, setting direction and fostering a high-performance culture. Key responsibilities: Build and maintain a high-performing team that delivers on the roadmap.
Partner with the Product Owner and understand the backlog and long-term roadmap. Ensure team well-being and operational efficiency. Uphold quality standards and compliance requirements. Align development with architectural principles and IT guidelines.
Oversee operations and optimise IT solutions. Lead recruitment, performance reviews and professional development. The position is based in Copenhagen. Some travel may be required, although limited. Your Profile You are outgoing, empathetic, and value collaboration.
You are curious, proactive, and contribute ideas to help realise Nykredit’s digital ambitions. You promote transparency and have a sharp eye for how best to contribute to team and individual goals. We expect you to bring: A relevant higher education in IT, finance, economics, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in the financial sector – within IT or on the business side. Experience managing large tasks or projects, ideally within Asset Management or Back Office Operations (experience from other domains is welcome if you understand the value chain).
Leadership experience with direct reports, or current experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager with indirect leadership and a desire to take the next step. Strong communication skills in Danish and English, with the ability to convey complex issues clearly.
Experience working with agile principles and development methodologies. Decision-making experience and negotiation skills. A results-oriented and customer-focused mindset. An inclusive collaboration style and appreciation for diversity and equality.
