Viby J Are you ready to take on responsibility for a number of dedicated and highly demanding customers within the early life nutrition and medical nutrition industries in Europe and globally as our new Senior Account Manager? Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) is an independent company within the Arla Foods Group and a global leader in natural whey ingredients for many different categories including early life nutrition, medical nutrition and sport nutrition.
How you will make an impact As part of Arla Foods Ingredients organization in Strategic Business Unit Specialised Nutrition at our head quarter in Denmark, you will be responsible for value-added B2B sales of milk and whey protein ingredients to the early life nutrition and medical nutrition industries in Europe.
Some of our accounts are global customers with operations in Asia, Europe and the Americas, and you will take on the global responsibility for these accounts. Our customers develop, manufacture and market infant formula powders, ready-to-mix protein powders, and beverages.
Your customer portfolio will consist of mid-sized to larger international players where Key Account Management experience will come in handy. You will manage your own customer portfolio with strong support from Sales Support, Sales Development, Application and Nutrition Science and the broader AFI organisation.

You can look forward to Play a significant part in the implementation of the regional market strategy for Specialised Nutrition Negotiate contracts on product prices, product volumes and commercial terms with your accounts Make and Execute account plans as well as making sure that targets are met through structured key account management Co-lead portfolio development and market rollouts to your accounts together with Sales Development Master sales forecasting and sales excellence in collaboration with internal stakeholders incl.

Product Management and Logistics Take ownership of the total sales cycle around every account, from lead generation to sales closure. The role is based in our global headquarters in Aarhus and is part of the European Sales Team, reporting to the Head of Global Sales.
You should expect around 30–40 travel days a year. What will make you successful We imagine that the right candidate for this role has excellent sales skills and technical product knowledge, combined with ambition and drive. We expect the right candidate to have a minimum of 6+ years of B2B sales experience within food, nutrition or life‑science industries—preferably ingredients.
Your educational background and experience will enable you to understand our offering to the food and nutrition industries and use this actively to grow your business area. You combine strategic thinking with operational excellence, and you thrive in leading accounts and complex stakeholder landscapes.
You have a proven record of working systematically with larger customers in a long term strategic business and you must be able to handle varying workloads, keep calm when things are hectic and stand your ground when the going gets tough. You are driven by results and are capable of obtaining the best possible deals through professional and authoritative negotiations.
Furthermore, you have a flair for numbers and work in a structured way with your assignments. As you will be operating in an international environment with supporting functions across our organization, you will need extraordinarily good communication skills to appreciate different cultures, as well as the ability to cooperate with people at all levels.
