Senior Product Owner
In this role, you are the strategic link between business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users, ensuring that product capabilities deliver maximum value, drive operational excellence, and support the company’s long-term objectives. DIVE INTO WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY TASKS WILL BE You play a central role in shaping and strengthening Mind Energy’s Trading Management Platform.
You are far more than a backlog coordinator. This role requires someone who immerses themselves in customer needs, understands end-to-end processes across multiple markets and product types, and acts as a trusted partner between development and the business.
Your mission is to: Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for the Energy Trading Management Platform, ensuring alignment with company goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices Identify and scope new opportunities within ancillary services, integrations, automation, and workflow optimization Own and refine the product backlog, including writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and epics and continuously adjust and prioritize it based on stakeholder feedback, technical constraints, and evolving business needs Collaborate closely with teams across Asset Operations, Trading, Compliance, Finance, IT, and Sales to gather insights, validate solutions, and ensure smooth cross functional coordination Act as the primary product point of contact, facilitating reviews, demos, workshops, and alignment sessions with both internal and external stakeholders Lead sprint planning and guide execution, ensuring the external development team has the necessary clarity and product direction Ensure product increments meet required standards of quality, security, performance, and regulatory compliance, including validation through user testing, acceptance testing, and release management JOIN A TEAM OF MINDFUL ACHIEVERS You join a passionate commercial organisation working at the front line of energy flexibility.

LET’S SWITCH THE FOCUS TO YOU You have deep insight into the Nordic energy market and speak both the commercial and technical language fluently.You enjoy solving complex problems across customers, markets, and systems, and you excel at making complexity understandable, supported by a strong grasp of operational workflows and solid experience with agile digital product development. We imagine you bring: Hands-on experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a strong track record in agile digital product development Solid experience from the energy sector is a must, ideally with a background in flexibility aggregation, energy optimization, or commercialization of grid services Familiarity with market frameworks such as mFRR, aFRR, and FCR, and ideally knowledge of market communication standards The ability to thrive at the intersection of technology, regulation, business, and customer needs A talent for explaining complex topics clearly to both technical and commercial stakeholders, highlighting the business value A relevant educational background for example in engineering, energy systems, or economics or equivalent practical experience Fluency in English is required; Nordic language skills is an advantage We encourage applications from all backgrounds and identities.
