Drive the future of brand protection and lead a mission-critical scale-up at SASHA!Are you a technical leader ready to take full ownership of a growing development team while driving a massive backend infrastructure rebuild?SASHA is embarking on a critical mission to scale its platform, and they are looking for a Head of Core Tech & Infrastructure to spearhead the technical strategy and foster team excellence.the roleThis is a new position centered on enabling the SASHA platform to scale massively by the end of 2026.
You will be responsible for the well-being and development of the development team, currently consisting of 4 developers.As Head of Core Tech and Infrastructure you will utilize your strong technical background to lead and manage the team's technical efforts, including an ML-based library written in Rust, implementing SASHA’s breakthrough image signatures, and a node.js/Typescript backend infrastructure in GCP, that holds the registry of said signatures.This role offers the opportunity to step into management or leverage existing leadership experience, ideally without too many years of previous management tenure, allowing you to stay both hands-on and strategically involved.main responsibilities- Lead and manage the backend- and core tech team's technical efforts.- Be responsible for the well-being, development, and overall success of the team members.- Own the execution of the backend roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features..qualifications and competencies- A higher education in computer science, engineering, or similar.- Experience with team leadership and/or project management.- Proven experience in high-transaction environments such as Gaming, Finance, Payment sectors, SaaS scale-up or online retail.- Experience with machine learning and/or imaging- Preferably also lower-level languages such as Rust or Go.about SASHASASHA specializes in automated image protection, utilizing ML-based image protection technology to detect image misuse, combat IP theft, counterfeit listings, and unauthorized leaks.The company is focused on a critical mission to massively scale its platform, aiming to rebuild its backend to handle up to 100 billion signatures and 1000s of requests per second by the end of 2026.
