SYBO is part of the Miniclip family and known for the widely popular game, Subway Surfers - the most downloaded mobile game in the world, with over four billion downloads. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, we aim to create playful moments that inspire our fans to care.
We’re looking for our new Finance Controller to join us at the very core of the business, and yes, that’s Finance (according to a totally objective internal survey).
You’ll work with reporting, financial operations, and the usual fundamentals, but you’ll be joining a team that’s constantly looking to improve how things are done. We care about building a Finance function that is efficient, thoughtful, and always a step ahead, especially when it comes to using new technology.
That means we’re not just talking about optimization, we expect you to enjoy it. Whether it is spotting a manual process that should not be manual, building a smarter way of working, or thinking “I can automate this” - that mindset is key here.We are actively exploring how AI can support our workflows in a meaningful way, and we are looking for someone who is curious enough to challenge both themselves and the team along the way.
We work closely together and share responsibilities across the team, so you will not be limited to a narrow scope. Instead, you will have the opportunity to get involved across different areas of Finance, explore new ideas, and contribute to how we continue to evolve as a function.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare monthly reporting and consolidation to our parent company
- Support budget planning and preparation of the annual report
- Conduct financial analysis and actively support the business with insights
- Identify and drive opportunities to optimize processes using data and AI
- Oversee day to day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
LIFE AT SYBO
In your first month...You will get to know how we run, from daily routines to monthly closes, from tools to team dynamics. You will build context fast, connect with stakeholders, and start understanding where things can be improved.
Within 3 months...You will take ownership of parts of the monthly reporting and consolidation, join budget and forecast follow ups, and get hands on with payroll processes. You will begin contributing ideas and improvements as you go.
By 12 months...You will be a trusted partner to the business. You will deliver solid forecasts, prepare the annual report, and confidently navigate game KPIs. You will also have driven meaningful improvements, from smarter workflows to automation initiatives that make Finance more efficient and scalable.
REQUIREMENTS- Hands on experience working within finance, for example as a controller, accountant, or auditor
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into clear insights
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders across different functions
- Solid knowledge of VAT, taxes, payroll, and cash flow
- Drive and experience in leveraging technology, automation, or AI to improve financial processes
- Experience with tools such as VBA, SQL, or similar
- Background in auditing or financial consulting
