As a Software Engineer within vision and robotics, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions while ensuring compliance with quality and architectural standards. Moreover, you will contribute to the successful implementation of solutions by conducting training sessions for internal stakeholders and end users.
You will support projects, collaborate closely with the Technical Product Owner (TPO), and ensure valuable feedback from projects and site integration is used for adjustments and further development. Responsibility for Vision and Robotics We are a global organization, but you will be working from our office in Aarhus and be part of a small team of highly skilled colleagues in logistics.
You will join the Robot Product Team, which covers multiple disciplines – Electrical, Mechanical, Automation – with you as the software responsible. You will work in close collaboration with the TPO, who acts as Product Owner, and you will have sparring opportunities with software colleagues across the organization to support knowledge sharing and development.
Here, your responsibilities will be: Improving new software products related to vision and robotic applications and supporting their use in projects. Maintaining and developing software applications according to our operating model and applicable standards.
Ensuring code quality through reviews, documentation, and adherence to coding and architectural guidelines. Offering input to automation strategy and technical requirements and setting product requirements in collaboration with the business. Testing and validating functionalities on our local test loop or on sites.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on a common system and evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies for automation and system integration. Experienced Software Developer You are familiar with commonly used tools, frameworks, and libraries relevant to 3D vision, point cloud processing, and AI development, and can evaluate and apply them effectively based on product needs.
Experience or interest in machine learning and signal processing is highly relevant, as these fields play an increasing role in advancing vision and robotics applications. Moreover, you demonstrate innovative thinking, analytical skills, and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Additionally, we imagine that: You hold a bachelor's or master's degree, or an equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering, or a related field. You have solid proficiency in C# and Python, and experience in developing and maintaining various software architectures (e.g., microservices). You possess strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, and effort estimation for development tasks, and have hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), as well as software prototyping and conceptualization.
You bring a solid understanding of high-level integration with robotic systems and can design and implement interfaces that enable effective communication between software components and robotic controls. You possess solid expertise in computer vision and 3D geometry, with a strong focus on point cloud processing and object recognition.Experience or interest in machine learning and signal processing is highly relevant, as these fields play an increasing role in advancing vision and robotics applications. Moreover, you demonstrate innovative thinking, analytical skills, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
